Will of John Repine

#846 John Repine, Deceased The last Will and testament of John Repine of Blacklick Township Indiana
County - I John Repine considering the uncertainty of this Mortal life. Being of sound mind and memory
Blessed be Almighty God for the same. Do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say. First I give and bequeath unto my son Bowden Repine his equal share out of that tract of land formerly belonging to Cribs. I give and bequeath unto my second son Daniel and my third son Thomas is to get the remainder part of my land to be divided share and share alike in quantity and quality. But Thomas my third is to get the old place where I now live. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mariah Caneday thirty one acres and A fourth of an acre of land formerly belonging to the widow Wolf the south end of that part by my sun in law Mathew Caneday - paying off what debt is against the land. I give and bequeath unto my second daughter Margaret single woman three hundred and fifty dollars. Bowden and Daniel Repine is to pay Margaie Repine fifty Dollars a piece two years after my death if it is required and the remainder of her money is to be paid when Thomas becomes twenty one and each boy is to pay share and share alike and my wife Ruth shall have the house that I now live in so long as she remains my widow and my wife Ruth is to get the third of the three boys if what grain each boy raises and to be put in the Barn if required I give and bequeath unto my wife Ruth the old Soirel mare and the boys is to keep her in a horse beast so long as she wants one it is my will that all my children shall live with my wife till Thomas is twenty one except some of them should get married then their share of the moveable property the are to have at their marriage their part and it is my will that Margaret Repine is to have two cows and also she is to have five sheep and four hogs and also Margaret to have Bed and bedding and it is my will that Daniel Repine is to get the first Colt and Thomas the second Colt and Margaret the third Colt and it is my will that my wife Ruth Repine shall have all my house hold property what she thinks proper to keep and to dispose of as she thinks right and it is my will that Mary Wiley is to have one cow and four sheep and bed and bedding and one spinning neel when she becomes twenty one or sooner if required. And it is my will that my Executrix shall collect all my outstanding debts and pay my funeral expense and the Doctor bill to paid and it is my will that my personal property is to be divided among my boys when Thomas becomes twenty one years of age and the grain that now is on the place afer the boys gets what farming utensils the need the rest of the Grain is to be for the family use and it is my will that what grain is now in the ground that the three boys is to cut the grain and put it away and the are to have the half between the three boys share and share alike and the other half is to go to the family and it is my will that Bowden Repine is to help Daniel to build a house on Daniel part of his land as good as the house now Caseday lives in and now my will is that the part of the Wolf tract that is over and above of Canedays part to be a deed to the old place where I now live and now I give and bequeath unto my wife Ruth is to have two cows and five sheep and five hogs, and it is my will that Meriah Caneday is to have five sheep. Bowden Repine and Jeremiah Crissman whom I hereby appoint my Executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all forever wills by me made.

In Witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal the Ninth day of February in the year of Our Lord one eight hundred and forty six.

Signed sealed published and declared by the above named John Repine to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses there unto.

Be it remembered that on the nineteenth day of February AD 1846 before me William McClaran Jr. Register for the Probate of Wills and Granting Letters of Administration in and for said County was duly proved and approved the fore going as and for the last Will and testament of John Repine late of Blacklick township decd by the oaths of John Caldwell and George Cribbs two of the subscribing witnesses thereto - Same day Letters Testamentary issued to the executors in said Will maned who were first duly sworn according to law.
